The redevelopment of the former site of Woodward’s is perhaps the most significant mixed-use development project to be undertaken in Vancouver.
This high-profile development consists of approximately one million sf of market and non-market residential, institutional and retail. It also includes office, community space, London Drugs and the Woodward’s Food Floor above two levels of underground parking, in addition to the downtown campus of Simon Fraser University.
The redevelopment of the Woodward’s site has revitalized the streetscape of the immediate area and is serving as a catalyst for the economic, social and physical revival of Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.
The west condo tower, located at 128 West Cordova contains 366 residences and stands at 43 stories. All homes are open concept floorplans. “Club W” located on the penthouse level features the gym, contemporary lounge and the large common roof terrace with a W shaped hot tub. The east tower consists of both social and market housing and, like its counterpart, offers spectacular views of Vancouver harbour.
