Matthew Sveinson

Biography

Matthew Sveinson maintains a general civil litigation practice with a focus on construction disputes, corporate and commercial litigation, and real property disputes.

Matthew has broad experience as both lead counsel and second chair in all manner of civil disputes. He has appeared before all levels of court in BC and various tribunals, including the Property Assessment Appeal Board, Canadian Human Rights Tribunal, and Employment Standards Tribunal, among others. His litigation experience includes corporate disputes, construction disputes including delay claims and builder’s lien matters, civil fraud, insurance defence, employment disputes, and quasi-criminal proceedings, including civil asset forfeiture.
