Biography
Maryam maintains a general civil litigation practice. She has represented clients before the Supreme Court and Provincial Court of British Columbia in a variety of commercial, insurance, and professional liability disputes. She has also served as co-counsel in several trials.
Earlier in her career, Maryam worked as a law student intern with the Office of the Child and Youth Advocate of New Brunswick and volunteered with the Immigration and Refugee Legal Clinic and the Fredericton Legal Advice Clinic. She continues to be an active member of the legal community serving as a board member of Pivot Legal Society.
